SMH West is the western arm of S.M. Hentges and Sons, a heavy civil construction company that has been in business since 1981 with roots in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota.

In 2021, with more than 40 years of experience in underground utilities, concrete curb and gutter, earthwork, and bridge work, the company expanded its footprint to Colorado. Today we have a reputation for building quality projects safely and on time for clients throughout the Midwest and Colorado.
SMH West is based in Castle Rock and led by a team of experienced construction professionals, both in the office and in the field.
