Site Evaluations & Grading Plans

Before we grade we'll conduct a thorough evaluation of the site to assess the existing topography, soil composition, drainage patterns, and any potential obstacles. We use cutting edge GPS construction technology to prepare these plans. Once the site evaluation is complete, our team of designers develop a grading plan that outlines the desired elevations, slopes, and drainage patterns for the site. This plan takes into account factors such as water runoff, erosion control, and accessibility.

Earthwork, Compaction, & Drainage:

Excavation and filling are performed according to the grading plan to achieve the desired contours and grades. Our deep inventory of heavy equipment including bulldozers, graders, and excavators are used to move and shape the earth. Once that is complete our team compacts the site to ensure the stability and load-bearing capacity of the graded surfaces - helping reduce settling over time.

Lastly, proper drainage is crucial to prevent water accumulation and erosion. Drainage systems, including culverts, swales, and stormwater management structures, are installed according to specs & the final plan.

Final Grading & Surface Preparation:

Final finishing of the site is made to fine-tune the contours and slopes of the site, ensuring a smooth transition and proper surface for drainage and stability. The graded surface may be further prepared for specific uses, such as landscaping or paving. This may involve additional shaping, smoothing, and compaction of the soil.

Quality Control & Final Inspections:

Throughout the process, advanced quality control measures thru cutting edge technology and our years of experience to ensure that the work meets the specs outlined in the plan and adheres to regulations and industry standards. Once the grading is complete, our project managers & field leaders work with local regulatory authorities to inspect and ensure compliance with building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards before construction or occupancy permits are issued.
